Both covaxin and covishield are equally effective against covid infection. They have equal potency.

So I would suggest you to take vaccine either covaxin or covishield as per availability.

After vaccination, you may have fever, chills, fatigue, bodyache, pain at injection site which are common side effects.

For that you can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg three times a day.
