Question : While driving scooty I slipped and wounded my knee which got deep cut I visited hospital he dressed the wound and given me tt.i had tt vaccine 2 month ago but still I took the tt.anything more to do..

Whether suturing is done or.not,the wound should be covered by Dressing.Ointment containing POVIDONE IODINE should be applied over the wound and dressing should be done.
I prescribe Antibiotic like Cefpodoxime 200mg and Anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar condition.
Please consult your doctor and get appropriate prescription.

TT injection should be given into the muscle.If it is given in the back, into any muscle (intramuscular)there is no problem.
