Question : Hello,
While playing racquetball, I got hit on my right eye. It remains red when I wake up and there is pain when I move my head and its fine when my head is stable. It feels like the pain is from inside the eyeball area, may be some swelling inside, am not sure. I have not visited the doctor yet, but I would be visiting tomorrow or Monday whenever I get an appointment. Is there anything that I could apply ?

Thanks for sending your query to us.This is traumatic iridocyclitis.This is a inflammation due to injury.We prescribe anti inflammatory tablets and drops.Till you see the specialist anti inflammatory tablet like ibuprofen 400 mg can be taken twice a day,after meals. check the vision ,if there is any blurring the see the doctor immediately.

I went to an opthalomologist, he prescribed me lotemox gel. Everything is fine, just swelling in my eye.
