Question : Hi, years ago I was in a car accident so my Dr. said I had spinal Stenosis without even examining me.
Years ago, a spine doctor said I had spinal stenosis without an exam. The moment he did surgery it started, now I learn he put metal in my back and I cannot get into an MRI machine. Can you recommend where I should go to remove the metal that is causing pain in exchange for Laser or Bone Grafting. (1) the metal is causing my only pain; (2) Due to the metal I am not allowed to get an MRI; (3) metal is out dated. with so much new technology; (my lower lumbar did not hurt until the surgeon put metal in my back and left a scar. Thank you for a referral in XXXXXXX
he sent me to a Back Doctor who did surgery and put metal in my back; that's when it started to hurt. Now they have laser, bone grafting etc. Can you recommend how I locate a Doctor to remove the metal in exchange for modern technology, I prefer laser.

                                    Brief Answer:
Neurosurgical consultation is mandatory
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You require either a neurosurgeon or an orthopedic surgeon to open your spine and remove the metallic implant.
I advise you to consult a neurosurgeon for the same.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thank you.
