Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to ask a doctor.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Unlikely it is a covid related symptom in absence of fever cough breathlessness or any abdominal symptoms.
Stop clearing your throat forcefully
Avoid coughing vigorously
Dont sleep 2 hrs after meals
Try taking a course of antacid like omez 20 once a day for 10 days.
Take some steam inhalation twice a day
drink plenty of water
do some salt water gargling
all this will help you in long run
if not better consult an ent specialist
hope this answers your query.
happy to help
wish you a speedy recovery

                                    Hello Doctor,
Thanks a lot for your answer.
I am not quite following your point.
" Unlikely it is a covid related symptom in absence of fever cough breathlessness or any abdominal symptoms. "
Does the above statement means that it is not Covid related syptoms.
I have been having acidity issues and breathlessness for nearly 8 months on and off. I have been consuming medicines for the same and it is not a big issues.
I am not having fever, head ache etc.
Omez 20, should this be taken before or after food.
Thanks and Regards
Rajesh G

Hello
thank you for the query.
sorry for the inconvenience
well i meant very unlikely you have covid.
Though covid can present with many odd symptoms but you do not have other associated common symptoms of covid. since you are taking sompraz d 20 no need to take omez additionally then.
also lesuride can cause dry mouth try and reduce dose to half tablet and see how you feel.
also anxiety is a common cause of dry throat too if you have one you need to address anxiety too then.
best wishes
