Question : I am getting faster heart rate after taking metamorphin 750mg and my bp goes to 150. So is it expected or I need to take bp tablets to settle down the heart rate.

Thanks for the feedback. Metformin has nothing to do with fast heart rate and blood pressure.

If your heart rate and blood pressure is staying on the higher side then you need to monitor it and probably will need to start a antihypertensive medication also.

Discuss with your treating doctor about this to get a written prescription if required.
