Brief Answer:
Improve nutrition, stress busters and good sleep...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Of the various causes of recurrent canker sores / lip ulcers the most common causes are related to nutritional deficiencies and stressors. Therefore I suggest following a healthy diet, good sleep, and adequate stress management. You may also want to consider multivitamin supplements to treat the current sores. In the mean time, if it's causinng significant pain you can apply a topical anesthetic agent - Dologel CT or Zytee ointment on the affected areas.

Discuss about these recurrent ulcers during your next visit to the doctor. Your doctor will then be able to assess your dental bite as well as order for a few blood test including complete blood count, ESR and vitamin level check to see for any abnormalities.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
