Why I Have Had A Skin Rash It Has Disappeared Completely And Then It Comes Back ?

Question: Hi doc since September I have had a skin rash on my leg. It has disappeared completely and then it comes back - I have uploaded a picture - can you suggest how things will get better here. I have tried antibiotic creams but it just doesn’t totally remove. If 2 lesions disappear another two come back and vice versa.
Brief Answer:
Bacterial skin infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You seem to be developing recurrent folliculitis which is bacterial skin infection of the hair follicles. I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either Amoxicilin and Clavulanic acid combination (500mg +125mg) Or Cephalexin 500 mg, three times a day for a week. In addition I suggest you to use a topical antibiotic e.g either Mupirocin 2% cream or Fusidic acid 2% cream, twice daily for a few days. These are prescription medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
Thanks.

Is it nothing serious to worry about though is it?
Brief Answer:
Oral and topical antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Nothing serious. Just need to take oral antibiotics in addition for a few days as topical antibiotics alone may not be sufficient to prevent recurrences.
Take care
