Question : Over the last month or so, I've felt like there was something stuck in my throat. I've tried to clear it with coughing, and fluids but haven't had sucess.

At times, it bothers me to the point of coughing, and then regurgitation food I just ate.

Brief Answer:
Can be Achalasia cardia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
It can be Achalasia cardia. In Achalasia it's difficult for food and liquid to pass into the stomach from esophagus. It is usually caused by damage of nerves in the esophagus, preventing the oesophagus Hence there is a feeling of blockage or stickiness in esophagus and food does not passes directly into stomach.
A detailed blood investigation to rule out any autoimmune disease plus Endoscopy has to be done to find out the exact cause.
Hope I was helpful,
Thank you.
