Brief Answer:
Osteoarthritis of hip joint should be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be suggestive of osteoarthritis of the hip joint. The pain aggravates during standing position may be due to weight bearing on the joint due to gravity.

Kindly let me know the duration of symptoms as well.

If the duration is short than musculoskeletal pain due to ligament injury or bursitis also can be possible.

I suggest you investigate with a digital X-ray of the hip joint for primary evaluation.

Once osteoarthritis confirmed, the joint protective medications can be prescribed for you.
Meanwhile, you should avoid strenuous activities.

However decision regarding management taken only after x-ray or MRI report. You can take the non-steroid anti-inflammatory medications like ACETAMINOPHEN.

Let me know if I can assist you further. I will be happy to help.
Regards
