Question : Hi doctor, since last 10 days I m having pain in my right side of jaw. It started from the joint where forehead and jaw meets to the starting of chin. 10 days earlier I was travelling to a wedding. I was having headache and was trying to stay awake forcefully. This pain start slowly from that night.I was thinking it was due to lack of sleep but now I am having this on daily basis .. Please help

I have read your query and understand your concern.

Based on the description, the problem seems to be related to the TM joint (Jaw joint) or to the teeth.

We need to examine you in person to make a proper diagnosis.

Another possibility is inflammation of the nerve supplying that region (trigeminal nerve).

If the pain is severe then you can take one tablet of Combiflam right now, but a proper clinical examination is a must to know the exact cause and the treatment will depend on the cause.

Please visit your dentist and get yourself examined in person and take treatment as advised by the dentist.
