Question : I am still experiencing head pain; it is usually in the back of my head on the right side but now more and more there is pressure near my temples, like a pulsating sense that comes and goes. A recent X-ray show I have neck spasms as well.
Brief Answer:
Tension headaches.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Tension type headache (one of primary headaches) should be considered in your case, because the symptoms and the evidence of the cervical muscles spasms.
These types of headaches are worsened or triggered by poor posture, stress / anxiety, and are connected with contradictions of the muscles of the neck and scalp.
Warm procedures on your neck, relaxation, use of NSAID (ibuprofen, naproxen, etc.) help in improvement.
If the headaches worsen, become more frequent or change in type, get medical evaluation by contacting your primary care Doctor.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
This may be a chronic condition as well.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes, tension type headaches may be a chronic condition when they re-occur daily. Spasms of the neck and scalp muscles are involved usually. Contact your primary care Doctor with the aim to start a treatment since OTC don't work.
Hope this helps.
