Question : Hello, I am 48 years old female 5 foot 1 inches and weigh 52kg. I have had two readings of blood pressure. the first was three days ago at work and it was 159/96. Today on the weekend when I don't work I brought a blood pressure monitor from the chemist. After resting when I got home I used the new blood pressure monitor and the reading was 153/99. Should I be concerned and should I inform my GP.Thank's for your time and assistance.
