Question : Hello Doctor,

My wife was advised by gynecologist to take the prescriptions for a month.
OVUSPARK SR 75MG, CABERCET, DUOLUTON - L and Vacfol (Folic acid). kindly tell me for what is the purpose of those tablets.

I understand your concern.

These drugs are known to cause following side effects.
1.Nausea with occasional vomiting.
2.Menstrual Irregularities.
3.Calf pain.
4.Headache.
5.Mood changes.

These side effects subside within due course of time.

Diet should consist of green leafy vegetables and fruits like apples and pomegranate.

Oatmeal every morning taken in milk will help.

Avoid Fried and fatty foods.

Include more proteins like dal and soya in the diet.

These hormonal abnormalities take 3-5 months for complete cure.
