Venipuncture hematomas
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Yes, these seem hematomas due to venipuncture (needle insertion in vein). Possibly the needle got too far and cause blood oozing in the nearby areas.
Nothing needs to be done and these will resolve in few days. It may take few weeks for color to completely fade away. In case you see pus forming or this blotch to get bigger or more painful, then you may see a surgeon.
