Question : My son has been coughing and having fever with runny nose for four days now despite medication. Is it normal Should I do anything more

Hello,

All the three symptoms i.e. cough, fever and mucous help eliminate the virus from the body. Crying spells also help eliminate the virus. It usually takes 7-10 days to recover from a viral. What medicines are you giving currently? Alongwith, you can give one spoon of honey with a pinch of turmeric and black pepper powder mixed in it . It can be given twice a day for 3 days.
