Question : yesterday while driving, I had shooting pains down my legs (but I do have sciatica), then I started to get pain shooting down my arms, the right arm in particular, and was shaking all over with chills and fever. I had the temperature in my car cranked to 85 degrees and was still freezing cold. I was driving slowly, with my hazard lights on because I was in the middle of nowhere, hunched into almost a fetal position. Any ideas?
Brief Answer:
An infection to consider.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
Chills and fever indicate that there may be an infection that is causing your symptoms.
A viral infection or a urinary tract infection are examples of such conditions.
Such infections may aggravate sciatica and may cause pain in extremities, muscles, etc.
Getting evaluated by your primary care Doctor would be helpful in order to understand this condition better.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Take care.
