Question : Hi there. My left knee has a tight feeling to it and when I stretch it out from time to time there is a pop/snap sound in the knee joint. I think it may be from strain over the years, or perhaps a arthritic situation.
Brief Answer:
Arthritis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Degenerative changes seem to be setting in the knee joint. The sound is result of the taut ligaments inside the joint. You should get an Xray of the joint first. The tight feeling initially is seen in Osteoarthritis which is very common in your age group.
Few exercises, posture changes and few supplements like Glucoranate and Hyaluronate are given during the early stages of osteoarthritis.
Please consult a doctor for xray and find the changes.
