Brief Answer:
Could be due to muscle spasm

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

While yawning the muscle of face become taut and some of the nerves are stretched temporarily- mainly it is the muscular spasm required to balance the mouth muscles (to prevent dislocation of jaw).
This spasm reacts with spasm of upper chest and shoulder muscles.
I suggest when you yawn , keep your neck little forward bend so that the muscles are not in spasm.
You can also start a mild muscle relaxant if the yawning is very frequent.

Thanks for the question.
