Brief Answer:
Take local injections of steroid / PRP. Surgery may be required sometimes.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

If you have no improvement with pain killers and hot compresses, Then next step is local infiltration of steroids or Platelet rich plasma. The injections are to be given by a orthopedic surgeon with proper sterile technique.

In more than 90% patients ,the local injections work very well but if they do not work or problem recurs again then ,sometimes surgery may be required.

Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
