It could be due to stones or UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Painful urination( dysuria) may be due to stones( calculi) anywhere in your urinary tract. Other possible causes are UTI ( urinary tract infection) including urethritis. Rare causes like structures and an entity called obstructive uropathy can also cause similar symptoms.
Do a urine routine and culture to look for any urinary tract infection. In that case the symptoms will improve with proper antibiotic therapy. If the UTI is not the cause an ultrasound and CT-KUB may be needed to look for any stones. In that case you have to consult a urologist for further evaluation.
As of now. you can take analgesics like cyclopam for pain and drink plenty of water.
Wishing you good health.
