This symptom may be due to compression of femoral nerve called as meralgia parenthetical.
You should get examined by a neurologist.
Get a nerve conduction testing for femoral nerve study.
Avoid wearing tight clothes, belt, jeans at waist.
Pregabalin is gabapentin with methylcobalamin can be taken for relief.
Is there any back pain?
Is there any history of diabetes, hypothyroidism?
