Question : I have tingling in my foot, toes and ankle and some pain around the back and side of my knee and calf.

                                    Brief Answer:
Could be Sciatica.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In my opinion you have symptoms suggestive of sciatica, the cause could be slipped disc or lumbar spondylosis.
I suggest pain killers , muscle relaxant and spinal extension exercises esp. to build the muscles of back. Physiotherapy would be helpful.
To confirm the diagnosis we need MRI of Lower spine (Lumbo-Sacral Spine). It may show the disc prolapse or spinal canal stenosis. I would also recommend a blood test to check Vitamin B12 levels.
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
