Brief Answer:
Possibly osteoarthritis of hips or spine

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Thank you for trusting us with your health concern.

Pain in both thighs is commonly due to referred pain originating from hips or spine. Given you are above 60 and female, osteoarthritis is spine or hips are a major concern.

Xray hips and spine are needed for evaluation.
Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for necessary evaluation.

Meanwhile, you can take Advil 400mg up to 3 times daily to relieve pain.
Low impact exercises like swimming and water aerobics can help.
It is also important to maintain a healthy weight too.
You can also take over the counter calcium and Vitamin D to strengthen bones. At this age, women are at higher risk for osteoporosis too.

Hope this answers your question
