Brief Answer:
Add a topical antifungal

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I can see a dry, red, scaly patch on your upper inner thigh It seems like a fungal infection. In addition to the Lamisil tablet (terbinafine) I suggest you to also use a topical antifungal e.g. ketoconazole 2% cream or miconazole nitrate 2%cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Thanks. I stoped taking the lamasil tablet after having taken it for 30 days. Do you think i should continue to take it? I do take a statin, so i dont want too much strain on the liver. I did have blood work done for liver and the results showed liver function was ok.

Brief Answer:
Use just topical antifungal

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If you have already finished taking Lamisil then no need to restart it. I suggest you go just use the topical antifungal cream e.g. either ketoconazole 2% cream or miconazole nitrate 2% cream, 2x daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
