Question : iI have just gone thru treatment for breast cancer. I find now that i sweat only from my head.Its alot of sweat very uncomfortable could it be from chemo or radiation?

Sweating also is called hyperhidrosis can be a symptom of breast cancer. It can also be a side effect of the chemo drugs.

The medications used during chemotherapy can interfere with the body’s natural temperature regulation. These medications can also can bring on menopausal symptoms like sweat as well.

Some advice that I can give to you are:
- Avoid caffeine or alcohol for 3 hours before bed
- Use cotton clothes while sleeping
- Avoid spicy food
- Drink water
- Sleep in a cool room
- Try acupuncture as a method of relief.
