Brief Answer:
It could be nutritional deficiency.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your concern, I have gone through your question.
As you said you wear high heels, now whether it is spike or not, when your heels stays above your toes, it causes muscle tension, if you remain in this position for long.

In Addition, if nutritional deficiency is there, it can lead to excessive pain .

So what I think is, you should not wear Heels, you should wear flat shoes, where your heel and toe remain at same level.
And also get your routine blood investigations,
Like
Complete blood count, serum calcium, vitamin B12, serum electrolytes done, to rule out any type of nutritional deficiency.

I hope your query got solved.
thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Yes It May Get Worse.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Yes if you continue wearing shoes your condition may get worse.
If within last 6 months your blood reports were normal I mean blood reports I just advised you, then no need to get these test done again.
If you do not want to wear flat shoes, then you should get Orthopaedic shoes, which are available online.
These Orthopaedic shoes are so comfortable that you would like to wear them and you will not have any discomfort.
Hope your query got answered.
Thanks and Regards.
