Question : My wife took an Ipill after we had unprotected sex within 12 hours. But now we found the test card positive . Please help

Hello,

I-pill is not 100% effective. It can fail sometimes. If test card (urine?) is positive and you have missed your periods, then it is probably a pregnancy. I will still suggest that you undergo a blood pregnancy test and pelvic ultrasound (vaginal) to see if its a viable pregnancy. So you need to see a gynecologist for further management and start taking folic acid and iron supplements to make up for the increased requirements of the vitamins.
