Question : Almost every morning I have loose stools about 4 to 6 times a day. After I am done pooping I feel ok, but as the day progresses my stomach area especially on the left side starts to feel more gassy and bloated. Usually before dinner I have discomfort and after dinner I have pain in the left side of my stomach area, I think it is where my large intestine is. Sometimes it feels better when I fart. I feel gassy and bloated a lot.

Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns,
As per the details given by you-
1)Are you a diagnosed case of IBS?
IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion and when even after doing all possible tests related to intestines every thing is normal patient is labelled as having IBS.
So are tests like Fecal calprotectin,Stool test,Colonoscopy etc has already been done?
2)Why only councelling ?
All the symptoms you are having can easily be treated by medications and infact treatment of IBS is symptomatic(Medication is given for the symptom patient is having).
3)Why no medication has been given by doctor?
4)Duration of your problem?
5)Right now any medication you have already tried or taking?
