Brief Answer:
Primary stabbing headaches most likely.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Ice pick headaches or primary stabbing headaches should be considered in your case, if these headaches last some seconds.

If these headaches last more than a minute, other types of headaches may be considered. ( tension type, cluster, migraine ).

Primary stabbing headaches are mainly idiopathic ( in other words with no underlying causes ), however, in cases of acute onset at least a medical examination is necessary to understand if there is any underlying cause.

Some conditions that rarely are associated with stabbing headaches include herpes zoster virus, migraine, stroke, multiple sclerosis.

So, I think you should get evaluated by your primary care Doctor in order to understand better your condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
