Question : I have been having pain in my gut for several months. Sometimes it feels like heart burn and other times it is low across belt. I have had endoscopy and a colonoscopy and both were fine.
Brief Answer:
You should get CT scan of Abdomen
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Endoscopy will diagnose lesions of the esophagus, stomach and 1st and 2nd parts of duodenum. Colonoscopy shows lesions of the large bowel.
Pain in your case can be due to Small bowel issues.
Contrast Enhanced CT scan of the abdomen will give a clue about small bowel lesions.
If CT scan is normal, then you can take Proton pump inhibitor like Rabeprazole along with Levosulpiride. It will reduce Heart burn. For lower abdominal pain, you can take tablet containing Dicyclomine.
Please take small frequent feeds.
Nothing to worry. Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further. Wish you good health.
Regards
