Question : Hi there, I have woken up this morning with two visible swollen glands in my groin area. Throat slightly sore but nothing major. Only other thing to note is that I have 3 migit bites on my leg (same side as swollen glands). I am flying home from holidays today so would appreciate help. Thanks

Hi,

The bites on the same side might have caused local reaction as well as caused the lymph nodes swollen as reactionary lymph node enlargement. You may please take an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you and an antihistamine.

Sometimes oral steroids may help further but you need a valid prescription for it from your doctor. This will help for sore throat too. I also hope that there is no fever, body ache or other constitutional symptoms.
