Question : I have had pressure in my temples for a few days now. What additional symptoms should I be on the lookout for which would suggest I go in sooner than later? I have an appointment next week with a GP.
Brief Answer:
Not a serious condition.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query.
Only pressure feeling on the temples does not mean that there is something serious that is causing it.
Tension headaches for example may manifest with this feature.
So, there is no reason to think that this sign may be linked to any cardiac problems.
No need to rush to see your Doctor, the next week appointment is okay.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thanks for your reply. I am not concerned that it is linked to my heart condition. I am more concerned that I have had pressure in my temples and forehead for the past 4-5 days. What could be the cause of that?
Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
It may be for example sinusitis that may cause such symptoms.
Discuss with your Doctor at the appointment.
Hope I helped you.
Take care.
