Question : I often get severe abdominal pain occassionally with vomiting.Doctor has prescribed Nexpro RD 40 before breakfast followed by Meva-C before main meals and one Gevapin ME 100 once a day. What is the purpose of Gevapin ME100?

Seems there is some spelling error it is probably Gabapin ME 100 as I do not recollect Gevapin ME

It is gabapentin and is used in neuralgic pain, but has defined role in diarrhoea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome
Nexpro RD is good for vomiting and gastritis
Meva C is good for irritable bowel syndrome and will help in your abdominal pain
