                                            Question : Good evening doctor,
I am a 26 year old woman, married for one and half years. My height is 172 cms and weight is 76 kgs. I had an early miscarriage in October 2013. We have been trying ever since. I recently started my treatment with a new doctor. Both myself and my husband have no problems. My follicles ruptured successfully too. The doc prescribed myprog 200 mg tablet to be inserted vaginally 1 hour after contact. My question is how is this tablet gonna help my in my pregnancy. Please advice.

It is a progesterone hormone.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us about it.
I can understand your concern.
Myprog200 is a hormone progesterone and used in your case to promote implantation and support early pregnancy.
It is supportive in early pregnancy because it supplement the function of corpus luteum in early pregnancy.
You should take folic acid tablets daily, consume healthy and balanced diet, avoid stress, maintain weight, do yoga and meditation and avoid alcohol to conceive fast.

Thank you so much for the response. I have been taking Folvite tablets for a while now. My thyroid seems to be normal , but my doc prescribed eltroxin 50mcg to avoid it from shooting up. I have one more question. I am a college professor, because of which I gotta do a lot of walking and talking and climbing up steps. I drive two wheeler to college. I take care not to over-work myself. But I want to continue working even after I become pregnant. Are these gonna affect me in any way?

                                    Brief Answer:
Do not do over work.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Nice to hear from you once again.
You can go on your job after pregnancy, but you should never over exert yourself.
Two wheeler driving is also not considered secure, so avoid it.
Do not carry stress and never do strenuous work before and after conceiving.
Hopefully it is useful.
Regards
