Question : Why is it that they worry about high or low blood pressure or high or low cholesterol? Please be in depth?

Increased Blood Pressure could damage target organs like Kidney, eyes, heart and brain
They are often the silent killers, because, they have no directly attributable symptoms…
Low pressure may means the inability of the heart to pump to meet the demands – impending or existing failure
There are subdivisions of cholesterol – LDL, HDL and so on.
LDL is bad cholesterol – lower, the better. Because it deposits in the blood vessel wall and narrows the lumen – ultimately leading to heart attack, paralysis et… depending on the location
HDL is good cholesterol – higher, the better… it mobilises the deposits away from the vessel wall
The aim is to prevent any damage and prolong the quality and quantum of life…
That is why, they are concerned…
