Question : why is homochek tablet taken
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query.
Homochek is a multivitamin tablet containing Folic acid, Pyridoxine and Cyanocobalamin or Vitamin B12. It is given to treat anemia (Low Hemoglobin) due to folate or Vit B12 deficiency.
Your count of B12 was very low as you said. You may have to continue the medicine for 3 to 4 months for improvement.
Hope this helps you. Do write back if you have more queries to ask.
