Question: My Son is having fewer every 6 hours since yesterday with headaches. The temp is around 103-104

I understand your concern

If there are no other associated symptoms and he is active and playful in between fevers, we need not worry. This might be a viral illness only. In that case, there is no need of antibiotics(Gudcef CV). Also, never give antibiotics without a consultation/prescription. This can do more harm

Just give him Paracetamol every 6 hours for next 48 hours. This will relieve both fever and headache. You can give Ibuprofen if temperature/headache does not settle after 1 hour of Paracetamol. Let him take rest, drink enough fluids and have a soft diet. He will be alright in 2-3 days.

If no improvement in 48 hours, he becomes very tired, or develops other symptoms, we will need further evaluation
