Brief Answer:
Could be infection / Cellulitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have read the details and in my opinion it is infection- either from bone or skin. Lack of pain is not a good sign since it indicates damage to local nerves also.
I would recommend Antibiotics, and pain killers . Please get an X ray of toe , Complete blood count and Serum Uric Acid.
If there is involvement of bones , then surgery may be required.
Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
