Brief Answer:
Right hand and arm shaking

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

More information would be helpful to what is going on if you could provide. If this is something that only started happening within the last few minutes, prompting to write this question, and if the shaking has since subsided or stopped then, you may be suffering from what is known as a simple motor seizure on the right hand which would have a brain focus or lesion generating the "out of control" shaking in the left hemisphere. This should be reported to a neurologist as soon as possible so that proper testing can be done and if in fact this is a convulsive attack of some sort for you to receive immediate and proper treatment.

If, however, this right arm shaking is something that did not JUST start a few moments but rather a problem that begin weeks, months, or years ago and just seems to be worse or more noticeable over the last few days, weeks, or months, then, one thing that you may need to consider would be SOME TYPE OF Parkinson's problem. In other words, "out of control" shaking of one hand or the other is commonly the start of a type of parkinson's type of problem. It's not necessarily PARKINSON'S DISEASE....but that would be one of the leading diagnoses.

If this is the case then, again you should see a neurologist for a full history and workup to be sure that something were not causing this such as a brain mass or other intracranial abnormality (aneurysm, AVM, etc.). It would not be an urgent or emergent a situation if you were to say that the problem has been present for months to years. But of course, getting a diagnosis as soon as possible would be nice so that appropriate treatment could be started.

These would be the 2 most likely neurological disorders to consider for the information presented and what you would immediately want to take under consideration to rule out before going to other differentials.

If I've adequately answered your questions then, I'd greatly appreciate your CLOSING the query and assigning a 5 STAR rating to this explanation. Cheers!
