I have gone through your query and there are multiple causes of darkening of ankles and feet.
It could be due to pigmented purpuric dermatoses, stasis eczema, vitamin B12 deficiency.
Do you have any history of itching and burning on the affected areas?
Is there any history of prolonged standing or strenuous physical activity?
Are you obese or having any ailments like thyroid disorder, diabetes?
Also upload the pictures of the affected areas under the report section of the site so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.
