I’ve had really light brown bleeding for about a week it started when I had 4 active birth control pills left to take and it is concerning me because my period is never this light and never brown and I wasn’t supposed to get my period for 4 more days and haven’t had any cramping which I usually do

Birth control pills are made of high dose hormones like estrogens and progesterones. These tend to meddle with the normal hormonal balance leading to disturbances in the uterine environment.

This leads to abnormal proliferation of the endometrial glands which shred with brownish discharge.

Need not worry, this is self-limiting and will stop on its own.
