Question : I woke up today with my tongue swollen and there’s a white patch it’s very uncomfortable

I went to the emergency room they checked me out and said its a canker sore?? No lab test or nothing was done so i know its not that bc I%E2%80%99ve had a canker sore before nothing is helping.... any thing i can do at home to help until my appointment?? its on Feb 5th the soonest they have available. I feel like mouth wash made it 3x worse it spread out under my tongue after using it... it%E2%80%99s only under my tongue too no where else...

In this case you can maintain good dental hygiene, soft toothbrush, waxed tape-style dental floss.. Avoidance of exacerbating factors, and for pain control you can try topical anesthetics and coating agents. You can try lidocaine 2% viscous applied directly to the surface of ulcers.
