Question : I have had chronic anxiety for the last 4 weeks. I am 50 years old, no related health issues. Just got a physical recently. About 4 days ago, i started having like an aching pains around my lower belly / intestines. Very painful after pooping at times and they last for hours. I am also getting nausea. Very scared.

Hello amd thank for query sir,

Very likely you are having viral gastroenteritis.
Swelling in intestines usually causes a pain spasmodic in nature.
However the pain at the time of pooping should not be there.
As written by you you had a physical relation ship few days back.Was it straight..I mean any involvement of anal area?
As of now take Zofran for nausea and Dicyclomine for pain(Please answer as soon as possible).
