Brief Answer:
Rare, not impossible. Its ok and no worries

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

It is true that most persons do experience a metallic taste, but not all persons. Absence of a metallic taste experience is not a sign of failure.

How persons instead of a metallic taste experience could simple experience a slight burning feeling or a warm flushing on the body or both. Some persons do experience all of these, and other, though rarely , none of these.

No worries if you never experienced a metallic taste. The most important thing is for the radiologic team to follow the main recommendations required in administering the die. You really need not bother for it is not rare for some individuals not to experience this taste. Kind regards.
