Question : Hi my wife is having pain in her left side breast since last one week, Upon checking at it everything is smooth normal no lump or bump.

So shall we still go for any other tests?

Also what is the reason ?

If she is expecting the menstrual cycle soon, in one or two days it can be related to it. I think she may need an ultrasound to check the breast and find the reason of pain. Inflammation of the ducts can be a reason of it.

So what kind of ultrasound she needs to do?

Does she has to do abdomen ultrasound or breast ultrasound sound?

Are breast ultrasound is same like abdomen or what?

Also she thinks at work she lift some box and it hurt on breast but she do not remember that exactly.
