Brief Answer:
possible Folliculitis, rule out hemarrhoids

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The swelling could be folliculitis which is an infection of small hair follicles. However, hemorrhoids can also present as uncomfortable bulgings around the anus. So, it is important to undergo appropriate physical examination by your primary provider for confirmation of diagnosis.
Meanwhile, apply mupirocin (antibacterial) ointment on the affected area twice daily to clear up infection if any. Do warm water sitz bath twice daily.
You can also take Tylenol if pain present.
Keep the area clean and dry. Use loose fitting undergarments.
If constipated, make sure to include high fiber diet.

Hope this answers your query
