Question : I recently had my annual screening mammogram and was notified that I needed to have a diagnostic mammogram d/t something seen on my R breast results, (58y/o, caucasian, postmenopausal for 10yrs, no family history of B.C. Or female cancers, 20 lbs overweight)
I am anxious about this additional test as my yearly mammograms have been negative since I began having them since I was 40 y/o, any advice or comments?

Brief Answer:
Please upload report

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If the mammogram is suspicious or non contributing, we go for either an ultrasound breast MRI or a biopsy. Another mammogram is not warranted.

Please upload the report so that I can give you more information.

Hope I have answered your query.
