Question : My wife has brownish discharge from vagina for last 1 month and USG shows 7.7mm thickening in junctional zone in lower uterus . All other findings are normal what could be the possible diagnosis
Brief Answer:
As explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thickening of the endometrium can be due to fibroids or hormonal changes. To rule out cancer, you need to get an endometrial biopsy. Chance of cancer is very less. Brown discharge can be due to infection as well. I suggest you discuss with your treating doctor and go for further investigations such as biopsy.
I hope this answered your query.
