Question : Three times over this past month I have taken i hit or two of weed to help me sleep. Prior to that, it had been years since I had used it. Now I find out I am facing a drug test for a job. Given my history, how long should the THC show up in my urine?

Hello,

People who use marijuana frequently can have a positive urine test for up to 12 weeks. People who used it once only can test positive for up to 72 hours. So I will guess that you will be somewhere in between that range - probably closer to the 72 hour range.

The potency of the marijuana and other factors can affect how quickly the metabolites of marijuana are cleared from your system, but this gives you a general range.
